As the Marketing Specialist you will support and implement marketing programs (projects); evolve our marketing traffic processes and systems; and collaborate with our internal marketing team, key stakeholders, and external vendors to oversee project implementations through to completion.
This exciting role will allow you to exercise your skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously while staying on top of all the details.
Engage with colleagues across key departments and the Marketing Project Manager to create and manage project plans and schedules enforcing adherence to processes, deadlines, and national/local compliance requirements;
Manage multiple, overlapping project schedules working under direction of cross-functional team members that may include internal and external resources;
Oversee project production management and vendor coordination, providing detailed product requests and coordination of product codes and distribution planning;
Proof content on a variety of projects and plans, as assigned;
Utilize and master internal workflow software tools to track project plans and create dashboard reporting of status, tasks, deliverables, and effectiveness;
Identify and proactively address opportunities for efficiency in process, print, and access of marketing collateral;
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement self-service tools for campus and field teams through web programming and variable print offerings;
Develop status reports and tracking tools, route and secure approvals, and drive flawless execution of project deliverables on time;
Periodic maintenance, review and updating of all assets and materials;
Manage user login, information and access for all users within the system, companywide;
Continuously look to improve system functionality and efficiency for end users;
Provide training and answer all day-to-day questions from users regarding use of the system and fulfillment of their orders; and
Completes other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required. Business/Marketing preferred.
2 or more years of workflow management system experience (i.e. Clarizen or another similar system/tool)
3 or more years of marketing, project management and/or account management is required; agency or internal marketing department experience preferred
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) - Knowledge of creative process and print production technology - Ability to work independently at a fast pace
Accuracy and accountability for work
Experience managing projects and multi-task in a deadline driven environment as same-day turnarounds are frequently required and priorities may change quickly
Exceptional communication, collaboration, organizational and writing skills
Training skills – must be able to convey concepts/processes to others.
Produce and deliver reports (written/verbal) on various aspects of job to keep others informed
