Opportunity at a Glance

As the Salesforce Developer, you formulate and define system scope and objectives through research to develop and/or modify information systems.  This includes preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written.  You design, code, test, debug, document and maintain enterprise applications.



  • Learn business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design construction, and implementation.
  • Code solutions to problems using a structured approach keeping in mind long term maintainability and quick accessibility.
  • Test coded solutions against customer acceptance criteria to ensure quality applications.
  • Consistently and accurately document all application projects. Your documentation (for new development as well as for maintenance) is complete, understandable and accessible.
  • Communicate and maintain a productive working relationship with the user base of the product / service line as well as all appropriate parties to an assignment - both internal and external to IT.
  • Report appropriate and correct status to project leadership and senior leadership.
  • Attend weekly team meetings.
  • Participate in system review sessions and product strategy sessions.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience is required/  A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least two years' experience with various operating environments, toolsets, and methodologies.
  • Developer Certification or Platform Developer I is required.

  • Proven record of accomplishment in developing customer-facing user interfaces.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, SOQL, APEX programming,, APIs, and Web Services (SOAP, REST), authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature, SSL, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0

  • Experience working with internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, Java.
  • Understanding of RAD, SCLC, Client Server / Distributed Application Design and Development.
  • Strong analytical skill set, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as problem solving abilities.
