As the Senior Programmer Analyst, you help support our enterprise eCommerce solutions.  You design, implement and support development for website functionality and work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and Quality Engineers in a highly collaborative environment.  Your website team is dynamic and fast paced, and you consistently exercise your ability to thrive in an environment where change is constant.

Responsibilities

  • Requirement Analysis, Design and Development of new use cases for our eCommerce platforms.
  • Learn business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design, construction and implementation.
  • Architect full stack applications and coordinate with development teams to deliver quality solutions
  • Code solutions to problems using a structured approach keeping in mind long term maintainability and quick accessibility.
  • Test coded solutions against customer acceptance criteria to ensure quality applications.
  • Support existing website functionalities and perform root cause analysis to prevent production issues
  • Monitor and improve all ecommerce systems to maximize reliability and stability
  • Consistently and accurately document application projects. Your technical documentation (for new development and maintenance) is complete, understandable and accessible.
  • Improve your knowledge in new technologies in order to use them in approved projects.
  • Participate on special projects and complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years experience in web application development utilizing Java / J2EE and object oriented design.
  • 5+ years of experience in integration technology, including web services, APIs, MQ/JMS.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: NoSQL, Oracle Database, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL
  • Experience with Tomcat setup, JDBC and POC creation.
  • Knowledge on Ant or Maven build tools, SVN / GIT source control systems.
  • ESB experience working with WS02 or Mulesoft is nice to have, but not required.
  • Experience with AWS is nice to have, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced development environment and possess strong time management skills.
  • Understand business processes, project management and planning
  • Motivated and capable of contributing in fast paced environment while maintaining quality of performance.
