Adtalem Global Education's CRM team is seeking a Sr. Solutions Analyst with strong experience in Salesforce and related CRM technologies. The Senior Solutions Analysts should have experience building, testing, and delivering Salesforce technical solutions. The candidate should be a subject matter expert in providing configuration, enhancement and support for Saleforce.com products, particularly Sales and Service Clouds.

 

The CRM Senior Solutions Analyst will be part of a team of Salesforce Solutions Analysts and Application Developers to deliver a portfolio of institution projects on time and with high quality.  The individual will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, evaluating technical solutions, configuring the Salesforce products, and documenting functional specifications that drive application development.  It requires a solid working knowledge of the Salesforce product capabilities and developer toolkit.  To be successful, the Senior Solutions Analyst needs to be able to understand the business processes in higher education, analyze system functions supporting these processes, and configure complex solutions to achieve specified business requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform Salesforce technical configuration and delivery of new capabilities in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce components.
  • Translate identified business requirements for complex business changes into detailed functional specifications for use by Salesforce Application Developers.
  • Maintain current Salesforce certifications and stay updated on Salesforce capabilities/best practices.
  • Work closely with project managers to define project tasks and activities required to build and deliver identified business solutions.
  • Manage individual priorities and workload on multiple projects; deliver project tasks on time.
  • Provide mentorship to Solution Delivery and Service Delivery team members.
  • Proactively manage project issues/risks, and resolve or escalate project roadblocks as needed.
  • Understand design impacts of delivered solutions on reporting, system monitoring and analytics.
  • Develop and execute quality assurance test plans and use cases to ensure system changes meet the business requirements and maintain environment integrity/reliability.
  • Provide functional expertise to the institutions for acceptance testing; track and resolve identified defects as necessary.
  • Obtain required documentation and approval for all issues, enhancements and project requests to be deployed into production in accordance with release management processes.
  • Provide training/knowledge transfer to Help Desk colleagues to ensure a smooth implementation and to Service Delivery team for future enhancements.
  • Research reported issues and be responsible for driving resolution in a timely manner.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience required. Master’s degree desired.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience building Salesforce solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce CRM products; current
  • Salesforce certifications desired.
  • Proficient with understanding and analyzing business needs, designing solutions based on needs, and articulating business impacts.
  • Experience delivering large-scale Salesforce product implementations desired
    Applied knowledge of the solution definition, design, layout and configuration of the SFDC product and related applications.
  • In-depth understanding of SFDC toolkit (e.g. Visual force, Apex, Triggers, Workflow Rules, SFDC Data Loader, Apex Explorer, etc.)
  • Experience with integration of third-party tools into Salesforce.
  • Detailed and process oriented with demonstrated capabilities in business process design, modeling and requirements analysis; ability to translate into detailed functional requirements specifications.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing initiatives 
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional facilitation, organization, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient with project management practices and tools.
  • Complexity:
    This job requires detailed analysis, interpretive thinking and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet current business needs and anticipate future changes.  Individual needs to be able to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects and concurrent tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.  Must be results driven and committed to meeting set deadlines for established deliverables.  Must be capable of working with business and technical team members at all levels of the organization.
