Reporting to the Campus Administrator with dotted line reporting to the Associate Dean for Research, the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager offers expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture and represents a key role in helping to control occupational risk. The EHS Manager will analyze work environments to design and implement programs to control, eliminate, and prevent disease, injury, and/or environmental impact caused by chemical, physical, radiological, and biological agents, ergonomic and/or other factors in areas of environmental program management, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.
