Opportunity at a Glance

As the .NET Web Developer, you will provide planning and support of Chamberlain University’s web properties, including the architecture, implementations, management and maintenance. You will address your responsibilities with minimal direction and/or oversight, while working collaboratively within the digital marketing team to achieve our business objectives.


  • Architect and maintain reliable, secure, and high performing environments for Chamberlain’s web presence
  • Manage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and budget adherence
  • Manage third-party technical resources
  • Manage and support marketing tracking efforts using tag management system
  • Responsible for the daily implementation, management, maintenance and proactive monitoring of the web properties, as well as identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Create reliable and consistent backup and recovery processes, including periodic testing to validate restoration capabilities
  • Establish and recommend changes to our policies and methodologies which affect outcome of marketing projects as well as the health of all web properties
  • Deploy back-end CMS enhancements as well as front end development as needed
  • Liaise with development agencies and third party vendors
  • Lead and implement third party integrations, working collaboratively with various teams to execute the plan most effectively
  • Interface with various teams and agencies to discover more appropriate and efficient solutions and procedures related to all web properties
  • Develop strategies on optimal utilization of networking and server-based technologies
  • Troubleshoot, develop and exercise maintenance plans for web servers
  • Apply your knowledge of current development trends and techniques to daily work and long-term marketing project plans
  • Ensure consistently high functionality standards (both technologically and architecturally) for web and UI design
  • Exercise your working knowledge of version control tools like Git
  • Completes other projects and duties as assigned

  • At least 3 years of experience and superior knowledge of NET, C#, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, UI Design, SQL Server
  • Strong understanding of development principles and standard systems
  • Superior knowledge of development tools, trends, technologies, resource usage, and best practices
  • Experience with Sitefinity CMS is desired
  • Experience working in cloud infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and/or 5 to 7+ years of equivalent professional experience 
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual who can work autonomously as well as with a team
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and listen to others
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to express technical information to a broad group of people
