    ACAMS seeks a talented sales professional

    to join our team as an Account Manager


    As our Account Manager, you will lead sales activity and build trust-based relationships by sharing information about the features and benefits of our diverse portofolio of services within the Midwest territory. This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding metrics and sales targets to consistently drive revenue by growing existing and new accounts. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our aggressive revenue growth objectives.



    The Account Manager: 

    • Manages sales across assigned territory by generating new B2B business from existing customers and prospective clients.
    • Manages a quota of approximately 1.7M.
    • Works with Sales Director to create and execute strategies to grow revenue in assigned territory: Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri.
    • Increases revenue opportunities by attending ACAMS conferences and chapter events.
    • Communicates and tracks sales activities. This position is responsible for meeting sales metrics including a set number of calls per week, as well as product presentations at the client’s site.
    • Understands and anticipates clients' training needs to drive the success of the assigned territory.
    • Proactively develops new sales opportunities for ACAMS Conferences and local seminars to increase attendance and revenue year-over-year.
    • Responsible for the management of marketing campaigns.
    • Tracks progress of sales in Salesforce and actively manages business pipeline.
    • Acts as a liaison between ACAMS’ personnel and new territory leads as product expert.
    • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts in the assigned territory.
    • Identifies decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
    • Penetrates territory and generate sales from within client base.
    • Generates product or service interest and leverages ACAMS’s value proposition to close sales.
    • Maintains current knowledge of ACAMS products and services.


    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 4+ years of success in a sales role
    • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals and achieve sales quotas
    • Solid experience in the assigned territory
    • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with Salesforce a plus
    • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows- based programs 
    • Personal goal setting and time management skills
    • Desire to be part of a rapidly expanding business
