    The Senior Manager Sales - Brazil is responsible for being a champion and proactively leading sales activities for ACAMS, a professional education division of ADTALEM. The Association of Certified Anti-Money Laudering Specialists (ACAMS) is the largest international membership organization for professionals, dedicated to enhancing the knowledge, skills and expertise of AML/CTF financial crime detection and prevention. Our members include representatives from a wide range of financial institutions, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies and industry sectors. This role involves promoting ACAMS products, seeking and developing new businesses (inside and outside ACAMS’s existing customer base), and driving competitive sales opportunities. This position’s primary focus is to build sustainable client relationships and increase revenue. The Senior Manager Sales - Brazil is directly responsible for exceeding production quotas and providing technical sales support and subject matter expertise to the field organization. This position works closely with sales, product management, and territory development to formulate and develop strategic plans and achieve annual business goals.

    Responsibilities

    - Develops partnerships and relationships with financial institutions, associations and regulators.
    - Attends annual alliance conferences and secures speaking engagements for ACAMS.
    - Partners with the Vice President, GM of The Americas to develop and rollout national account plans. - Pursues new services and product opportunities for key accounts (existing and new).
    - Develops and leads large-scale sales opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle.
    - Travels domestically to other key markets to recruit, develop and manage local representatives.
    - Plans and executes on ACAMS venues, such as webinars, seminars and conferences.
    - Leads customer presentations and meetings, whilst demonstrating advanced closing skills.
    - Collaborates with Client Services, and other home office teams to ensure excellent customer service. - Creates and implements off-the-shelf and custom-education solutions for clients.
    - Manages client relationships at all levels of an organization.
    - Ability to forecast, project and take ownership in the achievement of the business plan.

    Qualifications

    -  Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

    -  Fluent in English, Portuguese reading and writing.

    -  Location: Sao Paulo, with up to 50% travel required.

    -  Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry with a proven track-record of success.

    -  Strong knowledge and contacts within the financial and regulatory industry.

    -  Experience training and development a sales team, a “roll up your sleeves” sales executive.

    -  Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

    -  Ability to present business and technical results clearly, completely, and accurately.

    -  Strong negotiation and listening skills with public speaking confidence.

    -  Commercial maturity necessary to give high-end input and presentations.

    -  Highly effective and unselfish team player, willing to lead by example.

    -  Enthusiasm, drive, and strong sense of initiative.

    -  Exceptional communication, presentation skills.

    -  Organized, coachable, self-motivated with the flexibility to make adjustments

    -  Entrepreneurial spirit.

    -  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, intranet communications.
