    The Campus Program Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the development and implementation marketing programs for Chamberlain University (CU) campuses in various major metropolitan markets, the role is based out of Downers Grove.

     

    Reporting to the Marketing Director, Programs, you will be an advocate for the customer and act as internal expert on the industry and competitive landscape.  The role will be responsible for managing implementation and execution of marketing strategies for Chamberlain University’s campus nursing program.  Working with cross-functional teams the candidate will deliver and measure integrated campaigns in-market.

    Responsibilities

    • Works with marketing management, Campus Operations and Campus Presidents to drive inquiry and enrollment goals for a select set of campuses
    • Responsible for creating the CU marketing plan with Marketing Director
    • Manages the implementation and execution of marketing strategies for Chamberlain campuses
    • Manages marketing plan including media and advertising tactics including; paid channels, website, social media, print, and PR, making adjustments according to effectiveness and budgets.
    • Collaborates with Adtalem Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) on execution of media and advertising plans
    • Attends campus events and oversees/supports agency and campus teams in engaging attendees, running “world class” events, managing the registration process, lead generation, tours, tracking and measurement of event day activities
    • Manages the marketing budget for assigned locations and monitors expenditures
    • Measures, analyzes and reports on the effectiveness of marketing activities
    • Uses secondary information to understand competition and demand drivers in the market.
    • Conducts marketing research on a variety of factors including competition, product demand, student demographics, etc.
    • Partners with Admissions, Campus Operations and Campus Presidents  to implement marketing plans and local events and sponsorships
    • Works with and provides direction to outside agencies as needed
    • Reviews campus marketing requests to determine need, priority, and completeness of information 
    • Completes other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

      

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or a related field, required. 
    • At least five years of marketing experience in a corporate marketing or advertising agency environment. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Ability to understand, manage and track marketing budgets
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills across all business channels
    • Strong attention to detail and necessary focus on execution, follow up and measurement
    • Demonstrated ability to manage up and sideways within a large and diverse matrix organization
    • Action oriented self-starter with ability to drive results
    • Knowledge of local media preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications is required.
    • Ability to travel overnight up to 10% of the time
    • High level of independent work ability
