    With a dual reporting line, reporting to Head of Asia, based in Hong Kong, and the COO, based in Miami, the Executive Director of Administration & Operations is a member of the senior leadership team in Asia responsible for instituting systems and processes that provide effective internal management. The Executive Director has direct responsibility for managing and providing strategic leadership and oversight to key functions within ACAMS – Asia, including marketing, operations (comprised of customer service, IT, events, and project management) and finance. This person will partner closely with the Head of Asia, human resources and COO based in Miami, and other global functions, to achieve excellence in management and strategic execution through the establishment of operating and financial systems and processes that allow for organizational accountability while maintaining fiscal health.


    • Responsible for ACAMS – Asia day-to-day operations in key functional areas such as operations, marketing and finance.
    • Provides key leadership to develop and implement a strategic plan that supports ACAMS- Asia’s vision and goals; communicates the strategic plan to colleagues to ensure buy-in and support; modifies the plan in response to changing internal and external
    • Partner with leadership team members in setting policies and determining strategies to meet or exceed revenue, profit, and cash flow commitments to the
    • Analyze current and future trends and needs and accurately assesses functional responsibilities competitive strengths and
    • Identify and implement opportunities for new value
    • Ensure the highest possible standards/metrics are implemented to evaluate
    • Uphold, safeguard and promote ACAMS values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, integrity, and corporate (social)
    • Build and maintain departmental structure, operating standards and practices that are responsive and adaptable to evolving business
    • Develop and implement a talent strategy to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet the strategic needs of the
    • Manage colleague performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring timely feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
    • Establish, coordinate and administer an adequate structure for the delivery of effective and efficient administrative operations (e.g. finance, HR, IT).
    • Support expansion efforts in markets identified by Head of Asia, in terms of legal entity establishment, operational set-up, etc.

    • Direct the functions of budgeting, accounting, reporting, financial counseling of leadership team to appraise operating results in terms of costs, budget, operating policies, trends and increased profit opportunities. Analyze revenue, profit and cash flow opportunities for the business and recommend actions.
