    The Business Analyst will be responsible for research and analysis to support strategic decision making in the healthcare education field.  The position will support the development of organizational and corporate strategy and is a key member of the strategy team, reporting to the Director, Strategy and Planning. The position will work closely with all members of the Strategy team, and collaborate with academics, marketing, admissions and operations with opportunities to present analysis and recommendations to executive leadership. As part of the strategy team, the analyst will have robust opportunities for professional and career growth.


    • Performs primary and/or secondary research, as needed – both internally and externally – for strategic projects.

    • Conducts data collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative studies, demonstrating skills in effective utilization of both quantitative and qualitative analyses.

    • Assists in assessment of new locations and new program opportunities.

    • Assists in coordinating market, industry and competitor intelligence.
    • Assists in financial analysis as needed.

    • Creates and revises documents and analyses that support strategy and planning. This will include strategy presentations (PPT), financial analysis (excel), and other documents.

    • Supports – and, where necessary, attends -- presentations of strategic priorities, plans, updates, etc., to senior management.

    • Creates and/or updates materials to be presented to executive leadership.

    • Completes other duties as assigned.

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum 4 years’ work experience in a relevant field, with an emphasis on research or data gathering.
    • Experience working on research projects from start to successful completion.
    • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required.
    • Analytical orientation; ability to both understand and to execute strategic initiatives, and to produce high-quality supporting documentation and analyses.
    • Must be able to work independently, effectively organize information, manage tasks, research issues and analyze data.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, and comfort with working with individuals at all levels of the organization.
