    The Manager, Reporting & Analytics functions as both a leader and a strong individual contributor. Under the direction of the Director, Finance and Strategy, the Manager will deliver reporting and analytics that inform Becker business strategy while improving understanding and control of the Becker business. The position requires knowledge across multiple software platforms including Oracle client/server, LMS, TM1, Elastic Path, Lawson, and SalesForce. The Manager is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in reporting and analytics. He/she demonstrates strong business and systems knowledge. He/she must possess strong communication and project management skills in order to consult with business and technical leaders across the Becker and AGTE organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Quickly learn Becker’s data environment; work to stand-up basic management reporting out of existing systems
    • Establish and report management metrics (KPIs) for all functional areas of the business
    • Partner with business and technical leaders at all levels of the organization to identify and meet information needs.    
    • Possess sufficient technical knowledge to translate business needs into meaningful reporting/analytics. Data likely sourced across disparate systems and/or environments.
    • Translate objective data into insights that improve business performance.
    • Act as a thought leader within the business; leverage best practice to deliver reporting and analytics that are sustainable, repeatable, accurate, and timely. Document all processes used to create reporting/analytics.
    • Liaison with ATGE DCOE, Advanced Analytics, and IT teams; leverage corporate resources as appropriate to meet Becker’s reporting and analysis needs.
    • Continuously work to improve the integrity of data, systems, and tools. This includes evolving knowledge of new technologies.
    • Project management and/or management of direct report(s).
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 7-10 years of reporting and analytics experience; preferably in Professional Education or CPG
    • Intermediate to advanced skills with coding and report development; ability to work with complicated data structures and large data sets.
    • Proficient with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases (e.g. SalesForce).
    • Expert level Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Natural curiosity; the ability to foresee questions and proactively answer them.
    • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently, problem solve, and drive to solutions.
    • Ability to prioritize and project manage to meet business needs and deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; an ability to present complex information in a way that colleagues at all levels can understand.
    • Must be a team player, willing to share and exchange ideas.
    • Ability to make ethical decisions, doing what is best for the students as well as the organization. 
    • Discretion; an ability to handle confidential projects.
