  • Opportunity at a Glance

    The Internal Audit Intern will assist in performing internal audit procedures in the areas of financial control, education compliance and operational reviews for Adtalem Global Education.  Responsibilities include testing, gathering, analyzing and evaluating documentation, and preparing supporting workpapers.  This position will assist in making recommendations to management regarding corrective actions and process improvements.  The intern is expected to achieve a basic understanding of financial control, regulations, policies, procedures, and systems subject to review and testing. 


    • Document existing processes through interviews and observation
    • Identify risks and key control activities
    • Perform attribute testing to determine compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and escalate issues to project lead
    • Assist with special projects as requested
    • Exhibit a professional demeanor


    • Minimum of Junior status in good standing
    • Minimum 3.0 overall grade point average
    • Strong leadership abilities, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and analytical
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite
