  • Opportunity at a Glance

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Management, the Director of Talent Management will develop talent strategies and innovative talent programs and solutions that will enable a high performing organization by providing robust development opportunities for colleagues, leaders and teams. The incumbent will design and deliver programs related to colleague onboarding, colleague career development and accelerated development for key talent. The re-design of the Adtalem Leadership Center will be a critical area of responsibility and aligned to that is the requirement that the incumbent possess strong experience in digital and contemporary learning delivery methodologies.


    • Research, identify and keep abreast of the latest in innovative learning methodologies and technologies and employ them to create engaged colleague and leader development experiences.
    • Create and deploy a high impact and contemporary colleague onboarding program enabling colleague early engagement in the organization and effectiveness in role.
    • Develop the approach to educate colleagues and leaders about career and development opportunities within the Adtalem enterprise fostering an environment of continuous learning, growth and development and engagement in the organization enabling colleagues to grow their careers at Adtalem.
    • Design and deliver best practice accelerated development programs for key talent resulting in engaged and retained colleagues who are successors for critical roles in the organization.
    • Create strategy for and re-design the Adtalem Leadership Center course and content offerings including sourcing the best contemporary learning content and delivery modalities to meet different customer’s needs.
    • Deploy Adtalem Leadership Center curriculum leveraging technology with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Provide thought leadership on culture and effective leadership development practices; benchmark best practices and explore new approaches and technologies to attract, recruit and hire talent globally. 
    • Facilitates individual and team effectiveness consulting engagements.
    • Facilitates Adtalem Leadership Center courses – face to face and virtually.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or other related discipline required. A Master's degree preferred.
    • At least 10 years of HR, program design and strategy development; with extensive talent development experience and experience in talent assessment and selection.
    • Experience developing and implementing colleague development programs at mid to senior management levels.
    • Experience developing creative, state-of-the-art learning deployment methods.
    • Experience with using the latest digital technologies in the development of learning programs.
    • Proven change leadership/change management skills including exemplary consulting skills i.e. influencing skills and demonstrated excellence in working in a matrix.
    • Strong executive presence; possesses business acumen, metrics and outcomes orientation and the ability to develop and present a business case.
    • Strong customer relationship management and problem solving skills.
    • Must have strong facilitation, communication and training skills.
    • Must be willing to travel to various Adtalem Global Education Inc.’s locations globally. Travel will be up to 30% of time.
