    Chamberlain University is looking for an experienced Manager of Strategy to play a key role in its strategy development and growth. The manager will help find new growth opportunities, lead the assessment of strategic initiatives and make recommendations to the Executive Leadership team.

     

    As the Manager of Strategy, you will work closely with other parts of the organization including Academics, Finance, Operations and Sales & Marketing.  The role is very high visibility within the organization and comes with ample opportunities for professional and career growth. The position reports to the Director of Strategy.

    Responsibilities

     

    Responsible for supporting the overall strategy function for the University, and collaborating with other departments to accomplish the following:

    • Lead the development of analysis of strategic projects through data gathering, analytical frameworks, and primary research to support strategic and executive management decisions, including international growth and acquisitions, as assigned by the Director, Vice President and/or President.
    • Develop financial models to support strategic planning, enrollment projections, investment alternatives, and other activities.
    • Assist in developing market, industry and competitor intelligence.
    • Lead assessment of new locations and new program opportunities.
    • Lead analysis of past trends and future demand; proposes strategic direction, provides thought leadership and engages senior leadership and other influencers as needed.
    • Evaluate and advise management on the impact of short-term and long-range initiatives and plans.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional and cross-institution project teams to solve business problems and drive alignment on strategy.
    • Support the prioritization of strategic initiatives and evaluates investment opportunities for strategic and financial value.
    • Completes other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of consulting/strategic planning experience.
    • Superior quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills combined with outstanding written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and secondary research skills needed.
    • Ability to synthesize and clearly articulate information a must.
