    As the Solutions Manager in the CRM team, you are responsible for successfully managing, advancing and delivering CRM academic technology (Salesforce) solutions and services to meet the business objectives of Adtalem Global Education Institutions.  You accomplish this by leading project teams and collaborating with business partners and IT teams to understand strategic academic technology initiatives.  Additionally,  you develop Salesforce solutions to meet those needs.  You are the technology point person on the project team, and you contribute to the technical deliverables throughout the project.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Propose, implement, and manage the implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements across Adtalem institutions.
    • Understand business objectives and research and provide guidance, options and proof of concepts (if appropriate) to solve academic technology needs.
    • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned Salesforce solutions.
    • Act as IT delivery leader and ensure that all CRM technology deliverables required by business partners reach successful completion on the required schedule.
    • Collaborate with partners to develop business requirements leading to successful project outcomes.
    • Provide the day-to-day team leadership, constantly focusing on how to keep the teams productive and moving forward along the schedule needed to deliver academic technology solutions and services.
    • Work with institutional and business leaders to maintain the prioritization of features in technology roadmap(s) for assigned solutions.
    • Act as the Salesforce SME for large projects, by supporting the efforts technically, and helping drive the project to successful completion. Champion best practices to further long term success of the system.
    • Provide IT support and information for Salesforce R&D pilot efforts and drive operational implementation of solutions resulting from successful pilots.
    • Drive adoption of best-in-class shared academic Salesforce technologies across modalities, institutions, programs, and courses.
    • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging CRM technologies/products related to assigned solutions.
    • Assist in the development of strategies and roadmaps with the Director of CRM for assigned solutions based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
    • Determine and track appropriate metrics to facilitate ongoing governance and continuous improvement of assigned CRM solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience.
    • 5+ Years of Hands on SFDC Experience either Sales, Service, Mobile, Analytics or Marketing.
    • Extensive Salesforce configuration and administration experience. Working knowledge of Salesforce customization and development using technologies.
    • Knowledge of Integration components for SFDC.  Example include SFDC APIs (SOAP, REST, BULK APIs), Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging, SFDC data loaders, etc...
    • Understand complex ETL and data migration practices and have performed at least 1 complex data migration to Salesforce.com.
    • Thorough understanding of the AGILE development lifecycle.
    • Experience with system management processes, business requirements, solution design and configuration, and user acceptance testing.
    • Ability to use industry software design tools and software development tools to produce project artifacts in support of solution delivery.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong active listening skills and the ability to translate needs, concerns and solutions across functional and stakeholder groups.
    • Demonstrated creativity balanced with practicality to meet business objectives and team needs.
