  • Opportunity at a Glance

    The Manager of Strategy plays a key role in supporting Adtalem Education Group’s institutions in their strategic planning, student outcomes, admissions, marketing, and operations. He/she will work closely with ATGE institutions in addressing questions of strategic and critical importance to the institutions. In addition, this individual manages projects relating to the development and management of the company’s strategic plan.  He/she reports to the Vice President, Strategy & Innovation, and is a member of the Strategy & Innovation group.


    • Successfully deliver results for ATGE and its institutions through hypothesis development, data gathering, analysis, presentations, and, where appropriate, solution deployment
    • Work within cross-functional and cross-institution project teams to solve business problems
    • Conceptualizes, proposes and conducts internal consulting projects, quickly demonstrating expertise in a variety of disciplines and industries. Analyzes past trends, projects future demand, and engages corporate partners and other centers of influence as needed.
    • Presents recommendations to senior-most members of the organization, including recommendations to commission further research or invest significant resources in the product.
    • Serves as a leading source of program information and competitor intelligence for the company.

    • Bachelor’s degree required,  Master’s degree preferred.
    • Min of 3-5 years of experience
    • Min 2- 4 years of previous consulting/strategic planning experience; previous higher education experience desirable
    • Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills combined with outstanding project management abilities, ability to apply good judgment and sense as appropriate
    • Superior written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to synthesize and clearly articulate information a must
    • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly
    • Strong personal drive and motivation
    • Demonstrated success as collaborative team player; capable of working with others and autonomously with modest direction
    • Possess a natural drive and determination to get things done
    • Thrive on achievement and helping others achieve their goals
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment, where conflicting objectives need to be prioritized and achieved
    • MS Office: Advanced Excel (e.g. pivot tables), PowerPoint and secondary research skills needed.
